AI music for shops: the MoosBox method

MoosBox AI Studio uses artificial intelligence combined with musical expertise to support audio production for businesses, media, and real-world projects.

Unique. Safe. Proprietary music.

Our creative team is dedicated to music production through the use of artificial intelligence. Each track is the result of a creative process that is guided, supervised, and finalized by our staff. We don’t use copies, we don’t sample other artists:
Every track is original and produced under the direction and responsibility of the MoosBox AI Studio team.

Our vision

Music. Intelligence. Emotion.

We believe that technology shouldn’t replace creativity, but enhance it.
MoosBox AI Studio was born from a simple yet powerful idea: making original music accessible to every space in the world, without compromising on quality, rights, or authenticity.

Because it’s the expertise of the professional that guides the AI, not the other way around.

As with all major changes, the difference lies in who uses the new tools and how. Artificial intelligence is transforming the music industry, but it also raises important questions about ownership, licensing, copyright and compliance. We have created a comprehensive guide explaining how MoosBox approaches these topics through human supervision, traceability, editorial governance and direct licensing.

As participants in the European AI Alliance, the European Commission initiative dedicated to discussion on the development and regulation of artificial intelligence, we contribute to the debate on ethical and responsible AI, bringing our experience in AI-assisted music for retail, brands and commercial spaces.

1. Are MoosBox AI tracks covered by a direct licence?

Yes. The AI tracks available on MoosBox are provided with a direct licence and traceable documentation. Even when external tools are used during the production phase, each track is selected, verified and added to the platform through an internal process of supervision and control. For content provided by MoosBox and under the applicable contractual terms, no additional payments are required to SIAE, SCF, LEA or other collective management organisations.

2. Are AI-generated tracks truly unique?

Yes. Each AI track is the result of an original creative process, guided and supervised by our music team. They are also monitored with tracking systems to ensure their uniqueness.

3. Who manages the rights to the tracks generated by MoosBox AI Studio?

Tracks generated by MoosBox AI Studio are managed by MoosBox through direct licensing, internal documentation and traceability systems. Some tracks may be produced with the support of external tools, but they are selected, checked and documented by MoosBox before being added to the platform. In case of inspection, we can provide documentation relating to the licence and traceability of the content.

4. How do you manage compliance with AI regulations?

Music created with artificial intelligence tools offers significant opportunities for the creative industry, but it also requires careful attention from a legal, documentation and rights management perspective.

For this reason, MoosBox follows an approach based on human supervision, traceability and editorial responsibility. Every work is selected, reviewed and approved by the MoosBox AI Studio team according to internal procedures designed to ensure quality, originality and compliance with applicable regulations.

Our framework also includes:

  • Human supervision and validation of all works;
  • Preventive checks to avoid imitation or unauthorized use;
  • Documentation and timestamp-based registration systems;
  • Traceability through metadata and identification technologies;
  • Continuous updates of internal procedures in line with evolving international regulations.

5. Can MoosBox AI music be used internationally?

MoosBox AI Studio adopts internal procedures to verify that internally produced tracks do not contain intentional references, plagiarism or material derived from protected works. Each track is selected, checked and documented through an internal process based on human supervision and traceability.

6. Does MoosBox take part in European initiatives related to artificial intelligence?

Yes. Since 2025, MoosBox has participated in the European AI Alliance, the European Commission initiative dedicated to discussion on the development and regulation of artificial intelligence. This participation is consistent with our commitment to ethics, transparency, AI literacy and the responsible use of AI in music for business.

7. If Shazam or another recognition app identifies a MoosBox track, does this mean I have to pay a collective management organisation?

No. Shazam and other music recognition apps may identify some tracks because they compare audio with public databases or metadata available online, but they do not determine who is entitled to collect fees for use in commercial spaces.

Some tracks may also be distributed on public platforms or associated with external metadata while still being covered by the MoosBox direct licence for the use provided by the service.

In case of doubts or claims, the relevant reference is the contractual documentation, the Licence Certificate and the traceability available in the Manager Profile, under the applicable contractual terms.
