11. What are the differences between commercial and royalty free music?

Commercial music > These are the most famous songs and artists; the ones you also hear on the radio, represented by the majors all over the world. Royalty free music > These are songs and artists that you may not know yet, but not of inferior quality for that. Music has often been created specifically for use by companies and, as a result, is particularly suited to a huge variety of commercial situations and activities. It is important to choose the right musical environment for your business, much more than the famous Artist.

12. Commercial or royalty free? Which one to choose?

There is no doubt that commercial music is cool. But what if you could just stop paying for expensive commercial music copyright licenses and continue to listen to music that is interesting and suitable for your business? What if by doing so, depending on the size of your business, you could save thousands of euros a year? With royalty-free music from our catalog, you don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t need to pay any royalties or related rights when listening to music in a public space. These music royalties are included in the subscription price.

13. What is the difference between \"fully-licenced\" and \"royalty-free\" music?

\\\\\\\"Royalty-free\\\\\\\" and \\\\\\\"fully-licensed\\\\\\\" music are the same thing: both refer to music written and produced by independent artists who have not registered their music with any Performance Rights Organization (PRO), such as SIAE in Italy, BMI in the United States, SGAE in Spain, etc. Since these PROs do not own any rights to the music of the artists used by Moosbox, the only licensing fee you have to pay is included in the MoosBox fee, which makes our service a simpler and more convenient solution than using mainstream famous music. In addition, the music used by MoosBox is created by emerging artists around the world, and by subscribing to our service, you are directly supporting these artists - every time their song is played on our platform, they get paid, through a specific agreement in place with the Collector who manages them.

14. Are public broadcasting rights and related rights included in the fees for the MoosBox service?

YES. All broadcasting and related rights related to the royalty free music catalog are included and it is not necessary to pay other licenses to other management companies.

15. What rights are included in the MoosBox service fees?

Royalty free music rights are included in our fee. Composers and musicians get paid for the music you play in your company through their management companies (so-called RELATED RIGHTS). You have to pay for public broadcasting licenses when you play music in your company, no matter if you play music from a radio, CD player, or an online streaming service like ours.

16. Does MoosBox also pay the music rights?

Yes. As a recognized provider of music for business use, MoosBox also pays the music royalties. Musicians, authors, record companies, etc. they all have the right to pay if you use music in your business. MoosBox pays to archive all songs and to be able to offer a business-oriented music service.

17. How much does the MoosBox fee cost and what is included?

MoosBox is a personalized in-store radio streaming service with royalty free music and personalized commercials, exclusively dedicated to commercial activities and companies. The fee includes all rights for public performance and related rights required by law. Since it is a subscription service, the fee is per month for each location (1 location = 1 access) in which you play the personalized radio in store. The realization of the commercials is not included.

18. What music can I listen to with MoosBox?

MoosBox gives you access to dozens of royalty free music moods created by our team of music experts, or you have the option to create one specifically for your company (ask us how). A soundtrack (the musical mood) is an endless stream of music that is updated daily. A mood has no programming limits and is also perfect for any special occasion (Christmas, Halloween, etc.). to create the sound that best suits your business.

All you need is an internet connection, a device (pc / tablet / smartphone or decoder), an audio system or pre-amplified wifi speakers. Just connect to our portal and / or download our dedicated APP for iOS, Android, Desktop. It is important to know that Google has established that apps and updates loaded on the Android system after August 1, 2018 should only work with a version of Android 11.0 or later. This means that if you have a device with an Android operating system prior to version 11.0 you will necessarily have to update it in order to install our app. There are particularly old devices that do not allow the update to version 8.0 of Android: consequently with these devices it will not be possible to install our app. As for the Windows PC operating systems, the service is optimized for versions from 8 onwards. In all previous versions it is not possible to guarantee operation. If you do not want to use your own PC, we can provide you with one of our pre-configured and customized decoders.

26. If I use my own PC, do I need to install any software to receive my personalized radio?

No, to receive the radio it is not strictly necessary to install anything on company PCs, but if you prefer you can download our free APP.
